Purpose
Summarizing statistics for sample data.
Synopsis
summ = sumary(x)
Inputs:
x = matrix (column vector) in
which the sample data is stored.
Outputs:
The return value is a structure with fields:
mean = mean
of the sample
std = standard deviation of the
sample
n = number of observations
min = minimum value in the sample
max = maximum value in the sample
p10 = tenth percentile
p25 = twenty-fifth percentile
(lower quartile)
p50 = fiftieth percentile (median)
p75 = seventy-fifth percentile
(upper quartile)
p90 = nintieth percentile
skew = skewness
kurt = kurtosis
