Extended Multiplicative Scatter Correction (EMSC)
Version
1.2
of EMSC_Toolbox
has been released.
EMSC
is a
powerful preprocessing technique to isolate and remove complicated
multiplicative and additive effects, such as those caused
by light scattering in reflectance spectroscopy.
It expands on the popular Multiplicative Scatter/Signal Correction
technique by offering much improved flexibility in selecting
backgrounds to subtract (known interferences) as well as scaling
targets and known analyte spectra. Eigenvector Research
is offering this patented technique as an add-on for use with
PLS_Toolbox
as EMSC_Toolbox.

examples of the use of this bleeding-edge technology see:

signal correction and spectral interference subtraction:

You
can purchase a copy of EMSC_Toolbox or get a demonstration
license from our download page.
NOTE:
EMSC_Toolbox requires a copy of the current PLS_Toolbox version.
You must upgrade your PLS_Toolbox
to the corresponding latest version to use EMSC_Toolbox. See
the EMSC_Toolbox Pricelist
for other ordering information.
Product
Support
Eigenvector
Research offers user support for EMSC_Toolbox by e-mail at
helpdesk@eigenvector.com. Questions
are almost always answered within 24 hours (and usually much
less). Updates and bug fixes will be available for users to
download from our web site. For information on other support
options, see our technical
support page.
System
Requirements
EMSC_Toolbox
requires PLS_Toolbox and MATLAB 6.5, 7.x or higher.
EMSC_Toolbox does not require other MATLAB toolboxes other
than PLS_Toolbox. Like most MATLAB toolboxes, EMSC_Toolbox
is platform independent. It will function on any platform
on which MATLAB functions (e.g. MAC, PC, Unix).
